It is Georgia hot up here. My truck exterior thermometer said 96 degrees at the boat ramp when we got off of the river. Had Sam and Jinny Sammis from Vermont yesterday and it was hot too. Fishing was tough in the bright sun and mud was coming down the river. We had a good time anyway. Even caught a few fish. Today had Scott from Chicago. He is a very experienced fisherman and caught 4 nice fish and several small ones on hoppers. We were on the lower river East of Livingston and the hoppers there are mature and able to fly so the fish are keying in on them now. I am looking forward to bird season already and cooler days so I put a photo of my puppies on todays blog.
