Spent the last few days on DePuy's and Nelson Spring Creeks and they have been great. Lot's of bugs and rising fish. We have been getting lots of rain every day but the river has been staying clear. We had a sot of mud on the 4th but it went right on by and was clear in a couple of hours. Saw a wounded Bald Eagle on the river. Got Anna from the Raptor center in Bozeman over and we got it caught. We had to run it down. I caught it by the back of the neck and kept its claws away from me. Anna got it and put it into a cage in her truck. Unfortunately the called today and could not save it.
